Bill Mellett Design is a small landscape architecture firm located in Ojai, Ca. specializing in high-end residential and commercial landscapes within Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles Counties. We are currently seeking a full-time Landscape Designer/CAD Technician who has the ability to produce detailed construction documents and assist in creating effective graphic presentations.
This position works closely with the Principal and Project Managers and will also require coordination with Consultants and Contractors. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and Microsoft Office is a must. Familiarity With Photoshop and Vectorworks is a plus. You will be responsible for drafting various landscape design documents and plans including: presentation plans, layout plans, construction details, irrigation, lighting, and planting plans.
Landscape Design drawing experience is a plus. In addition to the required computer skills, you must be organized, be able to prioritize your work load, possess the ability to meet tight deadlines, and work well within a strong team environment.
