Bill Mellett Design is a growing landscape architecture firm located in Ojai, Ca. specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects within Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles Counties. We are currently seeking a full time mid-level Landscape Designer/Project Manager with a degree in Landscape Architecture and a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Landscape Architecture office.
This position works closely with the Principal and coordinates with Clients, Consultants, and Contractors. Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Graphics Programs, and Microsoft Office is a must. Familiarity with Vectorworks Landmark is a plus. You will be responsible for site analysis and design, drafting documents and plans including: presentation plans, layout plans, construction details, irrigation, lighting, and planting plans, and be able to apply local codes to projects as needed. Knowledge of Southern California plant material and landscape construction is also required.
In addition to the above, you must be organized, be able to prioritize your work load, possess the ability to meet tight deadlines, and work well within a strong team environment.
