Custom fiber optics manufacturer seeks full time mechanical engineering position in Simi Valley.
Job Description:
Design custom products to meet customer requirements. Generate CAD models and drawings for product manufacturing and tooling. Support manufacturing and quality control. Interface with customers to create new designs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Physics, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of mechanical design and machining processes, and basic optics.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work directly with customers on custom requirements.
Solid Works modeling and drawing creation. AutoCAD a plus.
Knowledge of drafting practices.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
