Currently seeking a Project Engineer for a position in Oxnard, CA.
Job Duties:
Support Project Managers on multiple projects in all aspects of the underground pipeline construction process - from estimating the project to managing the project.
Prepare quantity takeoffs. Solicit material & subcontractor price quotes.
Prepare & maintain Project Book.
Prepare and log all material submittals & RFI's.
Assist in Project correspondence.
Document and prepare change orders and change order requests.
Prepare and update Project schedule.
Assist in monitoring job budget vs. actual variances.
Interact directly with Project Superintendents in the field.
Job Requirements:
Civil Engineering or Construction Degree.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Project management and scheduling software application experience.
Able to meet deadlines.
Self motivated.
Detailed Oriented.
$60,000-$80,000/year
Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
