Cook Job Description:

Job Summary: Cooks prepare meals for guests, ingredients (dressings, sauces, etc) and maintain the sanitation and organization of the kitchen. This is a labor intensive position that is very fast paced to prepare meals accurately and quickly for guests. It also involves receiving and stacking products in dry and cold storage areas. The position involves lifting, repetitive motions and exposure to heat and cold. This employee must also work well together with all team members

Essential Functions:

Ensures high quality service to all guests by preparing all meals accurately and efficiently.

Responsible for approved safe operation and maintenance of all kitchen equipment.

Basic understanding of different chemical solution uses and proper labeling.

Understands/executes proper kitchen sanitation and safety procedures.

Communicates well with fellow teammates and Demonstrates proper callbacks in a timely manner.

Works with BOH and FOH crews to ensure a remarkably clean and sanitary environment.

Supports, promotes, and practices all Champagne Bakery policies and procedures.

Demonstrates the importance of the food cost, portion sizes, and proper temperatures. Follows all recipes.

Prepares quality products following exact company specifications from the BOH builds and manuals. Quality and consistency is a must.

Assists with putting away orders as a team including, but not limited to proper rotation, temperatures, labeling or Day Dot, and storage of all products.

Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock and anticipating needs.

Exhibits respect for others with employees, vendors, and managers.

Responsible for knowing the proper station temperatures, set up/break down and maintaining a clean work area at all time following the proper sanitation methods.

Utilizes proper utensils at all times to eliminate cross contamination and adhere to proper flavor profile.

Reports to work or assignments on time and maintains a strong sense of urgency throughout the shift.

Proper hygiene and attire is required.

Performs necessary opening/closing duties. Completes duties or tasks that may be assigned by the manager on duty.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Basic English/Spanish language skills

Basic English/Spanish reading

High level of multi-task abilities

Completion of a Champagne Bakery Orientation

Complete and pass all the kitchen workbooks for appropriate station level

Knowledge of workplace safety procedures

Barista Job Description:

The position requires a high amount of communication with guests, managers, and fellow employees via the telephone and face-to-face conversations. These conversations are professional and courteous at all times. Cashier/Barista employees must maintain cleanliness of the restrooms, dining area, and patio area from top to bottom. This employee must work well with all team members and provide Tres Bon Service throughout their shift.

Essential Functions:

Ensures high quality service by effectively interacting with all guests through initial greeting over the phone, at the door and greet each guest with a warm, friendly enthusiastic welcome upon entering and demonstrate a sincere exit acknowledgment while inviting them back when leaving.

Accommodating special needs guests (i.e., wheelchair assistance, vision impaired, dog assistance).

Maintain knowledge of all current specials, table tents, menu inserts and roll outs.

Answer the phone in two rings or less.

Keep floors clean and dry, spot sweep.

Check restroom every half hour and sign off restroom checklist.

Process and assist in the delivery of all food orders from the kitchen area.

Must maintain expert knowledge of menu builds and plate presentations.

Continually demonstrates how to organize the line by sliding food in proper direction and maintain order with tickets

Must recognize what actions must be taken to prevent disruption in the flow of orders ready to be delivered to the guest.

Maintains a take charge attitude throughout the shift to quality check all items before delivery to the guest.

Must display knowledge and competency of all take-out responsibilities and functions.

Practices Tres Bon Service every shift.

Must be proficient in completion of opening, turnover, and closing sidework.

Consistent use of suggestive-selling techniques for both food and beverage items.

Accurately uses computer to ring in orders and process checks (in various forms of payment).

Daily maintenance to ensure a clean environment and atmosphere.
