Part-time position available, up to 20 hours/week, with potential for more hours and growth. Baking experience preferred. A lot of food prep required, must have CA Food Handlers Card.
We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule, who is available to fill in when needed (whether morning, mid-day or closing).
You will also be assisting the head baker when needed (making batters/dough, baking cookies/cupcakes/etc., decorating pastries, setting up display case, etc.)
Must be a great team player, friendly, great customer service, fast learner and dependable. Must be able to multi-task, work quickly and be on your feet most of the shift.
This position is for back-of-house. Including baking tasks, at minimum, you MUST be able to also perform the following duties:
Food prep
Handle orders (putting orders together, checking for accuracy)
Cook and bake
Wash dishes
Janitorial duties (checking & cleaning restroom, mopping, dusting, taking out trash)
Help with upkeep of front-of-house (cleaning tables, floors, etc).
We serve Filipino Fusion food. Knowledge of Filipino food is helpful, but not required. We are a small, family-owned and operated establishment, so we are looking for someone who fits and works well with us!
