We are looking for a FULL-TIME Veterinary Assistant, and PART-TIME Receptionist, for our small animal hospital, located in Ventura. The qualified applicant should have a MINIMUM of 2 years in the veterinary field, with experience in all aspects of a small animal hospital. This includes, but is not limited to, animal restraint, veterinary medical terminology comprehension, vaccine administration, placing iv catheters, performing dental prophys, assisting doctors in surgery, venipuncture, and preparing samples for lab. This applicant should be a team player, get along with all members of the team, follow directions given by management and/or doctors, and love pets and their people! We offer simple IRA, and pet discounts. The hours for this position will vary, including Saturdays. Compensation to be determined based on experience and performance. VETERINARY RECEPTIONIST, should have some knowledge of the veterinary field, but not necessary.
