Veterinary Technician/Assistant Position Available
We are a small animal practice in Camarillo looking for the right person to join our team. Candidate must have good people skills and provide excellent customer service as well as be dependable, motivated, detail orientated, and hard working. We are looking for a compassionate individual with a positive attitude who wants to learn and has the ability to be a team player.
Everyone on our team is trained and expected to be able to work all areas of the hospital. This will entail the front desk, assistant and janitorial duties. Duties will include answering phones, making appointments, maintaining records, computer entry, obtaining vitals, animal restraint, phlebotomy, radiography, surgical prep and packs, anesthesia monitoring, client education and maintenance of the hospital.
We take pride in our hospital and our compassionate customer service and are looking for an employee that will do the same.
Requirements include the ability to lift 40 pounds, be proficient with a computer, and have reliable transportation.
Must have prior veterinary office experience. Hours offered are approximately 30-40 hours per week and you must be able to work every other Saturday morning.
Wage based on experience.
