We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Ventura County area, to include Oxnard, Camarillo, and Newbury Park! Local commercial maintenance company is seeking a full- time maintenance technician to do basic maintenance and improvements on commercial buildings. The qualified technician will interact with other maintenance technicians, vendors, property managers, and tenants. Basic knowledge of building maintenance and handyman skills are preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Skills:
- Ability to work and complete tasks by themselves with minimal supervision
- Vehicle is mandatory, truck and tools are a plus
- Basic understanding of building and property maintenance
- Capability to complete work orders and inspection reports
- Clean and professional
- Problem solving skills
- Adapt and follow direction well
- Good communication skills including phone, email, and text
- Friendly customer service and etiquette

- Maintain storage inventory, equipment, and supplies
Duties:
Maintain the exterior of the properties, buildings, and storefronts, oversee daily trash removal, sweeping, cleaning graffiti removal, exterior entryway, cigarette receptacles, cleaning/disinfecting community surfaces (handrails, water fountains, etc.).
