A busy and growing electrical contractor is seeking a skilled Residential Electrician to join our team. This full-time position involves working on a variety of projects including service calls, remodels, tenant improvements, and residential/commercial service upgrades throughout Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. We specialize in residential and light commercial work and are looking for a dependable, experienced professional who is motivated, independent, and committed to high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and perform electrical repairs in residential and light commercial settings
Complete service calls, remodel projects, and tenant improvements
Install lighting, dimmers, switches, new circuits, and perform full home rewires
Perform panel upgrades, EV charger installations, and security lighting installations
Ensure all work complies with current California electrical codes
Requirements:
Journeyman Electrician License or a minimum of 7 years of verifiable residential electrical experience
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
Ownership of trade-related tools
Valid California driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to work independently and manage projects from start to finish
Reliable transportation to travel between job sites
