Busy trust and estate firm in Camarillo has an immediate opening for a full-time associate attorney experienced in probate, trusts, and conservatorships.
We are looking for a dedicated individual who is a highly motivated self-starter with good work ethic, detail oriented, a team player and projects a positive attitude.
Qualifications and Experience
JD degree
Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong research and drafting skills
At least 3 years of experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and conservatorships.
Must have case-handling experience from start to finish for probates, conservatorships and trust administration.
Familiarity with local court rules and procedures (Los Angeles and Ventura County)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience with Clio is a plus
Job requires travel within Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.
Competitive salary depending on experience and book of clients, bonus percentage paid for cases/clients brought to firm, vacation and paid holidays, Friday afternoons off, and retirement benefits (waiting period may apply).
