Rockwell Printing is looking for in-house graphic designer.
Will train for other responsibilities include assisting in order entry, managing workflow, customer service, estimating.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Apple computers
->> Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is Absolutely Required <<-
- Has worked in graphic design
- Thorough eye for detail, accountability and accuracy are required
- Good references
- Able to work in a flexible, fast paced environment
- Able to multi-task and complete projects with tight timelines
- Strong organizational and time management skills are requiredÂ
- Self motivated and detail oriented
- Must be reliable and willing to learn new skills
- Reliable and punctual work history
- Works well with others; is a team player
- Willingness to put in the extra time and effort to make the customer happy
- Must be service oriented
- Familiarity with general office equipment is expected
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as a professional and pleasant phone demeanor required
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Specific Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create artwork to customers specifications
- Create logos, business cards, brochures etc.
- Pre-flight digital files to ensure the print-ready status of all orders that are submitted
- Prepare final files for printing (impose, color correct, bleeds, crops, check resolutions etc.)
- Operate Digital Printing equipmentÂ
- Make film andÂplates for Press Department (digitally processing film, developing, stripping, and exposing)
- Manage time wisely in order to process orders efficiently and on time
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Work among different departments as needed (digital press, bindery, quality control, customer service)
- Execute/design layouts and templates for a variety of products
- Answer phones and take new orders
- Write up jobs, orders and invoices
- Process and bill online orders
- Process mail lists mailing paperwork
