Technical Services Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Handle incoming technical phone/email inquiries from resellers and end-users regarding printer products and software

· Manage any technical requirements in conjunction with our team in Asia as needed(Phone/ email)

· Support the sales team to maintain existing projects and develop new customized products for various opportunities including special projects and channel business

· Provide new product training as needed. (Primarily phone/ web based however onsite maybe necessary.

· Software Testing

· Tradeshow Support (travel up to 70% as needed)

· Hardware repairs/ upgrades

· Software/ Firmware Updates

· Ability to troubleshoot issues including Driver, SW, HW

· Have solid phone etiquette REQUIRED

· Prioritizes and manages multiple tech projects and reports back on-time

· Fields questions from staff and clients; recommends solutions to customer/end user issues.

· Interfaces with sales and customer support teams to provide technical information and assistance to team and customers.

Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of printer product information.

Answers incoming customer telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner.

Assists customers/end users with questions on product installation, usage, and implementation.

· Responds to and investigates customer/end user inquiries, concerns, and issues via phone, and e-mail in a timely and courteous manner.

Answers customer inquiries and provides appropriate technical and/or product-related information.

Effectively communicates customer issues and concerns to all applicable internal staff members.

Documents all contacts, actions, and responses in customer database.

Maintains working knowledge of products and/or services.

Prepares reports and correspondence as needed.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent, minimum of four years related

experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Proficient on barcoding programming languages

· Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and over the phone.

· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing

· Proficient in Windows OS

· Bilingual a plus
