Channel Islands Social Services (CISS) is Ventura County's award-winning In-Home Respite Provider specializing in homecare for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Behavior Interventionists, Para-Educators and Day Program or Supported Living Staff are encouraged to apply.
We are currently engaged in targeted recruitment for one of our amazing families in Camarillo, looking for a perfect match for them. Their adult son has autism and could benefit from a caregiver who has supported individuals on the spectrum who periodically experience behavioral challenges. Consistent, reliable, patient role models encouraged to apply.
Care is needed Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30pm - 8:30pm, and Thursdays 5pm-9pm. Males or females who are active and like to hike/swim or go to the gym with others are preferred. Clean driving record and ability to pass livescan fingerprinting is required. Caregivers are also needed in our traditional respite program which starts at $16/hr + mileage.
