Alta is a private equity firm that focuses in multifamily real estate investing. Our firm has over $200MM in assets under management and a track record of delivering superb returns to investors. Alta is seeking an Acquisitions Manager to execute an aggressive acquisition program of large multifamily assets. This position will function as a key player in the acquisition efforts of the firm and will primarily focus on acquiring value-add multifamily properties in select secondary and tertiary markets in the United States.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Sourcing properties for acquisitions
- Organizing and managing incoming deal flow
- Underwriting and analyzing potential investments using proprietary models
- Researching supply, demand, and economic drivers of markets
- Forecasting cash flow, economic yield, and pro forma income and expenses
- Brief principals and team members on investment details
- Coordinating and analyzing due diligence materials and 3rd party reports
- Coordinating closings with internal team members, lenders, and other stakeholders
Qualifications:
- BA / BS in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial real estate sales, private equity, or investment banking
- Strong quantitative skills, thorough understanding of financial concepts (ROI, IRR, cash on cash yield, etc.)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Must have a strong interest and general understanding of real estate finance, private equity valuation, and real estate investing
