BMW Motorcycles of Ventura County is looking for a Finanace and Insurance person.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
â¢Submit credit applications for pending deals to financial institutions for approval according to management's guidelines.
â¢Maintain a current folder or binder containing all extended warranty policy costs and guidelines, insurance rates, and financing buy-rates.
â¢Greet sold customers and invite them into the F&I office to finalize their paperwork .
â¢Prepare all necessary paperwork paying careful attention to completeness and conformity with local, state, and federal regulations.
â¢Collect any monies due, or verify funds with the accounting office.
â¢Maintain all state licenses required to sell insurance and extended warranty policies.
â¢Train the sales force on how to prepare customers for F&I.
â¢Keep a log (preferably on the computer system) of all deals completed in finance, deals in accounting, and pending deals with their status.
â¢Prepare a daily report (preferably on the computer system) of all unit totals, gross and F&I profit totals.
â¢Maintain the F&I forms library, making sure that the most current and accurate forms are being used.
â¢Submit the contracts to each lender with all the proper documentation to ensure prompt payment and maintain a record of when and how contracts were submitted.
â¢Control the status of deals; pending, closed, and sent to accounting.
â¢Update the computer system as each status changes.
â¢Assist the managers in completing the deal paperwork, including preparing the contracts to send to the bank or captive finance company.
â¢Maintain a F&I income log (hopefully on the computer system) and reconcile the F&I income to the accounting office balances.
â¢Verify payoffs, insurance coverage, and delivery status of the deals.
â¢Prepare cancellation forms for extended warranty and insurance coverage and respond to customer's inquiries regarding refunds.
â¢If necessary, enter fleet and wholesale deals into the computer system to update inventory records and service history.
â¢Maintain a rebate manual that outlines all current rebate and incentive programs for each manufacturer.
â¢Sell Extended Warranties and all other aftermarket items (Tire and Wheel, GAP, etc.)
â¢The F&I Manager has a responsibility to log in sales income, verify insurance with customers' agents, obtain deposits, verify trade payoffs.
