We are seeking a highly motivated entry level IT Technician - this is a full time position and is NOT remote.
As a IT Technician, you will support various clients, evaluate all nodes in an environment and make recommendations, based on the client’s requirements. The IT Technician will be a level 1 role. You will need to have a good understanding of WIN7 and WIN10, experience with a ticketing system, and excellent verbal/written communication skills. The clients will look to you as a subject matter expert for your guidance, when it comes to purchasing and setting up new equipment within their environment. Travel to clients is required at times.
It is crucial to be a team player and have the ability and desire to work in a high functioning, geographically dispersed team.

Must be a self-starter, able to work through issues from start to finish with little assistance, and report back with root cause and recommendations.
Hands on experience with server hardware and comfortable with installing parts and racking/stacking systems when necessary.
Hands on desktop experience (WIN7 and WIN10) and troubleshooting
Understanding how to setup shared folders and map drives
Responsibilities
Manage the day to day end user support from a remote office.
Ability to resolve issues related to Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office including Outlook, printing, desktop hardware, connectivity issues.
Comfortable speaking to clients regarding their technology needs as well as the ability to make recommendations.
Support other sites remotely and assist in managing other technologies.
Engage with technology teams and assume responsibilities on global projects
Ability to troubleshoot/resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner
Ability to work from a ticketing system and provide quality updates to clients and internal teams

1-5 years of experience providing end-user support
1-5 yrs. hands on desktop support experience including but not limited to:
Strong understanding of desktop and laptop hardware
Strong understanding of MS Windows 7 and 10
Strong understanding of mobile devices (i.e. iPhone, Android, Blackberry)
Strong understanding of MS Office 2010/2016 applications
VoIP Phone Services (Cisco Unified Communications System/Hosted VoIP Solutions)
1-2 yrs. hands on Server Administration experience including but not limited to:
Active Directory/Directory Services (AD, DNS, DHCP, WINS)
Network/Data Security experience
HP / Dell Server hardware
Email Systems/Message Integration & Collaboration/Office 365
Server Management & Maintenance
Backup Services
Data Storage, Protection, Availability and Integrity Management & Maintenance
Knowledge in using remote tools in order to support a geographically dispersed user base and technology environment
Must be able to pass a background check
Must be able to drive to and from client sites
Experience
1-2 Year IT Helpdesk or similar experience
