Seeking a (somewhat) EXPERIENCED polisher/assistant for a special position. Salary dependent on experience and skill level. Well-established specialist looking for the right person.
Responsibilities and Duties
QUALITY—use of loupe, Dremel, and knowledge of quality control basics
Polishing
Cleaning
Knowledge of metals - Gold
Tool/Supply Knowledge and Maintenance - Polishing Compounds, Buffs, Felt Wheels, Emery Paper
Equipment Knowledge and Maintenance, Polishing Machines, Attachments
Qualifications and Skills
2-5 years of experience knowing not to polish 18k gold down to nothing, (every bit of dust counts)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks (like ordering lunch and polishing at the same time)
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Good communication skills
