Overview:
Responsible for driving heavy-duty trucks (GVW over 26,000 lbs.), transporting materials and farm equipment as directed.
Responsibilities:
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and document accordingly.
Complete all appropriate company daily paperwork, including any safety training.
Plan routes and timely deliver equipment and material, per schedule.
Comply with all DOT rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company
policies and procedures.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
Report any defects, accidents or violations.
Ensure the truck is filled up daily and notify mechanic of any necessary repairs.
Qualifications:
Experience as a truck driver (minimum 5 years)
Valid California Class A Driver's License
Must have a clean driving record and dependable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
