Seeking customer service/computer support person to work an on-call schedule in support of wildland fires. This position requires knowledge of computer hardware and software, ability to resolve issues and provide documents as requested. Services include copying numerous documents within a specified period of time, making large scale maps on plotters, and signs for incident base camp. The work is performed at various locations depending on where the fire is located. The assignment can last from 3-30+ days. Work setting is usually at a school, park or fairgrounds setting. Meals are provided and sleeping quarters are available. This is a unique job opportunity. This is a perfect position for someone that is retired or has a flexible work schedule and can perform their current duties from a remote location.
