Clubhouse Attendant

Job Type: Full time – includes evenings, weekends, and some holidays
Job Summary: We are looking for qualified candidates to assist with the daily operations of the golf course. This position will be responsible for the collection of green fees, sale of pro shop items, snack items and drinks, and overseeing play on the course. Applicants must be 18 years or older, have customer service experience as well as knowledge of the game of golf. Must have the ability to work unsupervised at times.
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Greeting guests upon arrival in a friendly, positive, professional manner
Following daily Opening/Closing Procedures
Assisting customers with the sales of green fees, carts, tickets, food, drinks, and merchandise using a POS system
Maintaining the clubhouse environment by keeping the shop neat and orderly. This includes daily cleaning inside clubhouse, outside patio, and restrooms. Restocking all food items and merchandise during shift.
Creating and maintaining strong communications and quality relationships with all customers and members of staff
Managing 1st tee and overseeing play on the course making sure rules and procedures of the course are being followed. Taking corrective actions when necessary.
Answering the telephone, assisting the public with information, recording messages as needed
Reporting daily to General Manager, bringing complaints or concerns to their attention
Other tasks assigned by management
Education, Experience or Training
High School Diploma or equivalent
A valid driver’s license
A minimum of 6 months as cashier or salesclerk
General knowledge of the game of golf
Physical Requirements
Standing for periods of time
Lifting 25 pounds for restocking items
