The Press Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the press while meeting the standards in quality and productivity. The Press Operator examines job orders to determine quantity, stock specifications, colors and special printing instructions. Press Operator loads and unloads paper rolls, check pH and viscosity and complete all necessary paperwork. The Press Operator will also perform housekeeping, pre-press and maintenance related duties. The Press Operator may be required to perform other necessary tasks throughout the plant including cleaning, general housekeeping duties, painting, sorting, cup-by-cup, lid-by-lid or tasks of a clerical nature
The primary responsibility of the Packaging Operator is to maintain the auto-bagger equipment, case sealers, case erector, packing stands, cups & lids case date code. Duties will include the following: change out films on the auto-bagger equipment and change out tape in case sealers. Change out broken parts on auto baggers and case sealers. Repair push carts if necessary. Troubleshoot & maintain case date code & change ink cartridge as needed. Assist in auto baggers, case sealer & case erector rebuilds. Maintain and promote cleanliness and organization in work area. Packaging Operator will also complete paperwork and logs, create notifications, receive pass down & perform pass down with oncoming or outgoing shifts
REM-03 WS-03 Shift start: 4:00PM or 12:00AM
Shift length: 8 - 12 hours
Typically 6 days a week.
Prior experience utilizing pallet jack is highly preferred
