Job Description
Cary's Honey Farms, Inc. is a family owned and operated organization which specializes in honey production.
A field crew applicant will be required to attend to the production of the bee hives at the delivery locations. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, hardworking individual in a fast paced environment who can maintain the bee hives to ensure they stay healthy and productive.
Job Requirements
⢠Required local and out of town travel using company vehicle on a regular basis, possibility of overnight as needed
⢠Maintain and attend to the needs of the bees and hives in the field
⢠Provide medical treatment and administer medications
⢠Mix food, additives, and medications in prescribed proportions as needed
⢠Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment to detect, prevent or assess problems
⢠Strong communication and organizational skills by providing information to supervisors and co-workers via telephone, written form and/or in person
⢠Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as passenger vehicles and forklifts
⢠Maneuver trucks in to loading and unloading locations
⢠Drive trucks and/or Forklift and other equipment to distribute and load vehicles for the next work day
⢠Comply with truck driving rules and
⢠Collect, verify and complete daily task lists
⢠Double check all products being shipped out for accuracy
⢠Report defects, accidents or violations
⢠Inspect equipment, structures and materials to identify problems and defects
⢠Maintain and/or repair equipment and machinery
⢠Must be hardworking, consistent, and have a high attention to detail
⢠Expectation to manage time and stay busy throughout shift
⢠Maintain and promote safe work practices at all times by always operating all equipment safely and responsibly
⢠Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed
⢠Continually meet internal and external expectations through teamwork, respect, willingness and the support of others
⢠Demonstrate excellent job performance by productivity, quality, service, safety and attendance

Work Environment
⢠Work location will vary daily
⢠Fast paced environment with industrial machinery and vehicles
⢠Noise level varies and at times can be loud
⢠Varying temperatures based on weather conditions
⢠Required to work with bees and hives in the field and warehouse (less active during winter months).

Qualifications
⢠Minimum 2Years' experience working willing to train new drivers
⢠Class C, B, or A Driver License
⢠Forklift experience a plus
⢠Bilingual a plus
⢠High School diploma or GED
⢠Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
⢠Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
⢠Preferred clean driving record
