Job Description:
A grower and packer of specialty fruit has an immediate opening for a Packing House Manager to join our growing team.
Position: Packing House Manager
Responsibilities & Duties:
Coordinate with harvest, sales, and accounting teams.
Create and implement systems for the labor force to help maximize production efficiencies.
Manage labor to ensure a safe working environment while focusing on achieving optimal performance.
Manage grower inbound inventory, tote/bin inventory, and packaging inventory.
Work with the food safety team to create sound and reasonable SOP for Food Safety and Organic certifications.
Work with pack line contractors to reduce bottlenecks, improve fruit quality, and increase over efficiency.
Skills:
Understands the complexities of the packing process.
Conversational fluency in Spanish
Computer skills in Excel and Famous software
Goal oriented and problem solver
