TESTING for SHEET METAL APPRENTICESHIP

Fresno Area Sheet Metal Workers Apprenticeship Program is looking for applicants with little or no experience to enter into the Sheet Metal Industry.
Applicants must have a good work ethic (hard worker), be dependable, and drug free.
Work locations may be in the Fresno, Madera, Tulare, and Kings counties.
Will be Testing at end of February 2019.
Minimum Qualifications for Applications:
Minimum age of 18 years old.
Must have High School diploma, Equivalency test, or G.E.D. earned in the
continental United States at the time of application.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.
Must be normally physically able to perform work of the Sheet Metal trade.
Must have a valid drivers license at time of application.
Must turn a completed application before test date to be able to test.
Wage Progression
Pre-Apprentice: $13.50 hr. taxable - $22.41 total package (taxable wage plus benefits)
1st Year Apprentice: $16.87 hr. taxable - $40.88 total package (taxable wage plus benefits)
THRU TO
5th year Apprentice: $31.87 hr. taxable - $55.88 total package (taxable wage plus benefits)
Sheet Metal Journeyperson: $37.49 hr. taxable - $74.62 total package. Upon completion of the 5 year Apprenticeship.

Completed Applications:
Test day will be scheduled for applicants who have turned in a completed application.
Test consists of the ASVAB test. (This test is also used by the military to test their applicants)
