Inspiring Pathways is a level 12 Mother and Baby Group Home ages 12-18. We are hiring childcare workers in our Hanford facility. If you feel you qualify the job requirements and education, please feel free to email your resume to be reviewed.
Position: Childcare Worker (On-Call, Part-Time)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Childcare workers will be responsible for cooking (using set menus and recipes), directing residents in their activities of daily living, driving residents to and from various appointments and outings. Also responsible for supervising resident outings and activities, documenting increases and decreases in the points and levels system, managing visitors (sign-in/out, monitor for compliance with house rules), and other duties as assigned. Night duties include: washing, ironing and folding resident laundry and other household duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Must be at least 21 years old, with a GED or high school diploma. Have proof of a minimum of 60 credits through community college or vocational school, or in the process of getting a BA or higher, or obtain it.
Experience:
Two (2) years minimum experience providing direct care to at risk children youth. Residential employment examples include: group homes, county receiving homes/shelters, youth authority camps/facilities, county juvenile detention facilities, public and/or private mental health day treatment programs, or licensed/certified foster parent.
Prior to assuming the duties of a Childcare Worker, a qualified candidate will have to complete a regimen of training set forth in the Company's Employee Handbook.
