Warehouse in Lindsay needs a reliable, efficient and energetic individual to perform order fulfillment tasks. This includes, but is not limited to: downloading and printing orders from the computer, picking the correct items from the shelves, weighing and packing them, selecting the optimal shipping method and preparing the carrier label for the package. Speed, accuracy, and reliability are important in this line of work. Consider that your work is the first thing a customer sees when their order is delivered.
Necessary skills include good dexterity, ability to climb a ladder safely, and lift up to 40-60 lbs. 10% of the time (the heavy items are all on the bottom shelf though). Note that this is not a climate-controlled warehouse, so it can get warm during the summer. Previous experience in similar industries and work environments will be helpful. The applicant should be able to work independently, without supervision. This is a small but growing business. You are guaranteed a minimum of 4 hours a day working M-F (20 hours a week), at $14 an hour.
