FieldClock enables farmers to collect labor data using iOS and Android devices in an easy to use format, provides real time updates, simplifies payroll, and no proprietary hardware is required. Staff can get back to managing and improving the business rather than processing time cards and piece tickets.

FieldClock was founded in 2015 and was launched to the public in 2017. The company has grown rapidly with expansion in Washington, Oregon, Arizona, California, Montana, and New York. We are in the process of building our team so we can continue to expand our business in the California Agricultural market.

Regional Sales Manager

Job Description

FieldClock is looking for an experienced, technical, and self-motivated Sales Manager to join the team in the California agricultural region. The ideal candidate will: have experience in Agriculture, Farming, or related sales; outstanding communication skills, the ability to work independently and Spanish fluency (reading & writing) is a major plus. We are looking for someone who is passionate about sales, building relationships, and technology. Responsibilities:

Market and Sell FieldClock software by identifying potential clients, establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; demonstrating solutions.

Maintain relationships with clients by providing information, and guidance; supporting and training; advising and consulting. Interact with all levels of company structure: C-Level to Crew Boss.

Build and manage a pipeline of prospects. Identify strategies to build business and revenue in the California agricultural region.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of FieldClock, competitors, industry trends.

Execute complete sales cycle from start to close.

Schedule and complete sales meetings, trainings, demos, Ag Expos and events.

Train, mentor and coach clients through FieldClock implementation process.

Assist and oversee deployment along with client partners.

Act as the clients trusted advisor.

Utilize social media as a sales and relationship building tool.

Some overnight travel may be needed

Requirements:

5+ years sales experience, ideally in the Agriculture or Technology space: this experience should include “ prospecting, sales cycle management, negotiation, demos/training, and relationship building

College degree preferred but not required

Spanish, verbal and written (most of our end users are Spanish speakers) is preferred but not required

Experience executing demos/presentations and speaking in front of large groups

Proven track record working independently

Ability to overcome challenges, objections and obstacles

Strong ability to listen and understand the needs of others (clients)

Experience in building and managing a sales pipeline (this is not just an Account Management position.)

Outstanding customer relations skills, proven understanding of client relationships, company structures, and navigating a client environment

Strong ability to be organized and stay organized

Attention to detail, thorough, timely, driven to succeed, motivated by achieving goals

Ability to work under pressure, make decisions, and prioritize

Can work collaboratively and effectively with a team

Strong technical skills, comfortable using all types of technology including but not limited to: Web apps, phone apps, software, CRM tools, Gmail, Microsoft tools, etc.

Experience using Social Media platforms as prospecting tools

Ability to work in a start up environment
