Absentee owner/managers looking for a self motivated, self directed multi skilled individual that can either help ownership through the rehabilitation of a badly neglected neighborhood shopping center and/or assist as a part-time caretaker/day-porter that lives nearby to Dinuba; has flexible time and can assist with the supervision and care of the center.
The rehabilitation can involve carpentry, drywall repair, painting, t-bar & ceiling repair & demolition.
Day-portering may involve daily supervision of common areas, reporting property damage to management, key management to allow service providers and tenant access, hand pick debris from planters on and around the center, clean up areas surrounding dumpster bins, either report or haul off of hard to handle objects illegally dumped on premises, change and replace trash bags from trash receptacles, spot clean sidewalks as needed, remove cobwebs from sidewalk overhangs monthly, wipe down window ledges as needed or monthly, maintain graffiti & vandalism, as needed.
Compensation for day-portering: negotiated monthly salary.
Compensation for skilled repair and construction work, market price.
Independent contractor status okay. Okay to have another job.
Work to commence by mid July, 2019.
