Job Description

As the Paid Social Media Supervisor, you will help lead the Marketing team on a variety of client accounts and projects via media strategy, organizational transformation and thought leadership. This role is ideal for a leader who is tenured in paid social planning and strategy, has in-depth experience with ads managers and data platforms, and is an expert in client relationship management and problem solving. The ideal candidate should be proactive in nature, a critical thinker, and a mentor.

This position is fully remote, but may require some in-person meetings and will involve regular weekly and monthly calls.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Drive overall paid social media strategy and associated tactics to meet all client goals, working closely with account lead(s) and channel leads

  • Manage and oversee paid social media team and other digital marketing services in tandem with Head of Paid Media and adjacent Media Supervisors

  • Effectively communicate, prioritize and strategize between all parties (jetfuel.agency departmental teams [Admin, Design, and Marketing teams] and clients) as established leader of assigned jetfuel.agency clients

  • Lead jetfuel.agency marketing paid strategies to ensure agency growth with qualified prospects

  • Closely and effectively manage and develop junior team members (mentoring, training, etc.)

  • Prioritize and manage client quarterly and ad-hoc requests to ensure on-time completion

  • Problem-solve and innovate for issues and challenges not yet explored, attempted or accomplished

  • Proactively share learnings, best practices and innovative wins across the organization

  • Pioneer team efficiency and effectiveness, such as new processes, tech and software

  • Proactively grow and nurture client goals to scale spend and test emerging platforms

  • Assist CEO, Head of Operations and Head of Paid Media with development of new business, client onboarding and sales pitches

  • Consult, educate and negotiate with clients and agency partners

  • Effectively communicate paid media insights, reporting, trends and new initiatives to client/agency partners and vendors

  • Own vendor relations, drive alpha and beta tests, and ensure FMPA qualifications

  • Present recommendations/ideas to client and internal team

  • Effectively merchandise successes to clientele

  • Educate client team on the latest trends, best practices, technological advancements

Qualifications

  • Required:

    • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing and advertising

      • Expertise of Facebook and Instagram Ads for e-commerce clientele preferred

      • Knowledge of Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter ads a plus

      • Google Analytics Certification a plus

    • Broad range of experience in multiple advertising channels, including but not limited to:

      • Forecasting and opportunity/gap analysis

      • Campaign management tools

      • Demonstrated advanced paid media knowledge

      • Demonstrated ability to successfully monitor new paid trends and products and evaluate application to agency and client

      • Research tools/competitive analysis

      • Budget/pacing and billing

      • Demonstrated understanding of integrated media, client scope and industry trends

    • Excellent communicator who is able to craft and tell a consistent story to executives, team members and clients via written and vertical communication

    • Manage the media team successfully from a project management, feedback and efficiency standpoint

    • Ability to follow up on tasks to ensure deadlines are hit across many projects at once

    • Highly strategic and able to balance long term strategy with short term results

    • Deeply analytical with a bias for action

    • Ability to dissect data and draw insights that drive the business forward

    • Natural leader with ability to motivate, coach and drive teams forward
