Bay Medical Management, LLC is a medical services organization (MSO) headquartered in Walnut Creek. The organization provides administrative and management services to Bay Imaging Consultants Medical Group (BIC) the premier radiology group in Northern California.

SUMMARY
The IT Manager is responsible the day-to-day management of BMMLLC’s computing environment, including desktop, servers, storage network, and telecommunications infrastructure. Provide guidance in the continuing design and improvement of the infrastructure as technology advances to better serve the company’s needs.
This position requires a focus on planning and documentation, and ongoing supervision of BMMLLC's data networks. Provide advanced technical support for SAN and VMWare infrastructure.
Responsible for supervision of the IT Operations staff including Help Desk, System Administrators, Computer Support Specialists, and workstation deployment/management.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Other duties may be assigned.
Supervise day to day operations of the IT department, settings policies, procedures, and priorities for the department.
Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT operations including the design, installation and maintenance of all server hardware and software.
Manage staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and performing reviews.
Design, develop, and implement and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
Ensure security and integrity of data through policies, network access and backup systems.
Meet regularly with departmental leadership to ensure IT is meeting the needs of the business and clinical operational units.
Ensure that all server Operating Systems (OS) and software, including MS Windows Server, Linux, VMWare, and Citrix, are tuned for performance and patched.
Design, oversee and partake in the installation and maintenance of servers and coordinate network configuration needs with outsourced network management company.
Ensure that all Storage Area Network installations, upgrades, space allocation, and maintenance are consistent with the system architecture.
Oversee, analyze, maintain and update applications and data architectures including SQL, MAS100, Laserfiche Document management system, Office 365, Active Directory and LDAP authentication systems.
Deploy and manage monitoring tools, such as Solarwinds, to ensure proactive enforcement of corporate policies regarding network security, stability, performance, capacity and quality of service.
Develop, and keep up to date, detailed documentation of network infrastructure, policies, and other associated information.
Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
Work with Director of IT and the Accounting department to manage the annual budget.
Manage purchasing for IT department, including preparing P.O.s, tracking receipt of orders, and first line approval of invoices. Develop and maintain relationships with IT Vendors.
Evaluate existing and new software and hardware packages and present thorough analysis and recommendations to the IT Director. Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of vendor proposals.
Perform asset management of deployed resources and maintain and/or develop technical documentation and user manuals.
Provide advanced level problem resolution of networking and computing issues at all supported BMMLLC sites.
Provide after hours call support.
Keep skills and knowledge up to date through continuing education to include at least 16 hours of approved training per/year.


SKILLS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a diverse network environment with the following:
  • Network design, management, and systems administration in a heterogeneous environment which includes Microsoft, Linux and VMWare Servers
  • Office 365 Environment
  • Security implementation, including encryption and firewall deployment
  • VMWare environment
  • Administration of Storage Area Networks (SAN)

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
MSCE or MCSE+I and/or demonstrated knowledge and experience, with emphasis on MS Exchange, MS IIS and MS SQL
Demonstrated experience with Citrix certification and/or demonstrated experience with Citrix Xenapps and/or MS Terminal Server Edition
Advanced CNA
A+ certification or equivalent experience
