Demand for air travel continues to grow at an accelerated pace as the market recovers from initial pandemic setbacks. In order to continue to support customer modification requirements, Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a proven business development professional that will act as the Senior Program Management Specialist (Level 5) to lead further development of Boeing's interior modification products and solutions portfolio.

The successful candidate is motivated self-starter who is energized by learning and applies structure and discipline to drive innovation and value creation for Boeing's customers.

Position Responsibilities

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Business development, technical, project management, and commercial strategy expertise in areas that include, but are not limited to aircraft interior modification development and certification, proposal development, Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) development, regulatory requirement familiarity (i.e. FAA, EASA), airline and lessor operations, aircraft and airline economics, partnering, and/or related fields
• Working across integrated functional teams and business units to develop and execute new product and service development plans
• Identifying and validating unaddressed commercial opportunities
• Defining commercial strategy to address underserved customer needs
• Developing quantitative business cases
• Cultivating customer relationships
• Securing internal and external senior leadership agreement
• Driving implementation plans required to bring new products and solutions to market on-time and on-budget

This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in a role requiring project / program management skills
• Experience working in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
• Experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
• Experience with developing and delivering presentations to Senior Leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

• Master's degree
• Experience working in an engineering firm
• Previous experience with interior modifications

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).
