Position Summary:This position is responsible for Operations Planning including end to end MRP planning and executing assigned planning related activities for the company in obtaining materials for production, creating production plans and leveraging cross-functional support to attain a 99% service level. Manages material requirements and maintains inventory at planned levels and reduce excess and obsolescence.Key Responsibilities:Manages the end to end Supply Chain from Sales Forecasting, Planning, Master Production Scheduling Maintains, Capacity Planning, Material Requirements, Production Order Management and Sales Order Fulfillment.

Implements and coordinates best practice inventory planning in a cold chain environment and replenishment of raw materials, components, WIP and finished goods

Collaborates and participates in every aspect of supply chain management and understands manufacturing operations to maintain a repeatable and reliable process cognizant of cost and risk implications for the business unit.

Adept in establishing and documenting processes and leveraging systems to efficiently supply plan in a growth oriented environment utilizing an SAP ERP system.

Inventory Management: Drives appropriate days of supply, inventory reduction and E&O reserve management. Supports Product Life Cycle management and drives appropriate conversion strategies / tactical inventory management.

Able to communicate vertically from senior leadership and horizontally across Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Quality, Purchasing, Research and Development, Pre-production, Production, Customer Service/ Ordering and Warehousing / Shipping/

Participates and contributes to monthly SIOP (Sales Inventory & Operations Planning) process

Responsible to drive or assists in the product / process change request method.

Completes special projects and assignments as requested

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited higher learning institution required, with studies in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field

3 years materials planning experience

Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.

SAP MRP ERP experience a must.

Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities

APICS CPIM/CSCP certification or certification in progress preferable
