5+ years in a similar role, preferably with experience in the manufacturing industry
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Familiarity with accounting cycle and month/year-end process
Experience with an ERP system, preferably Sage Enterprise Management (X3)
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Must understand warehouse inventory and what’s needed to produce weekly and also with the manufacturing org
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for preparing financial statements, managing budgets, reviewing entries and accounts and perform general accounting in a multi-company environment
Post GL entries and assist in month-end/year-end process
Reconcile sub-ledgers, amortize prepayments, fixed asset and depreciation
Reconcile AR accounts and sale collections
Manage AP accounts, vendor payments, post invoices and bank reconciliations
Inter-company reconciliations
Analysis of cost of goods sold and inventory
