Job Description

TheFinance Account Director willshapethe publisher strategy in the Finance Vertical.The AD willguide CJ’s approach to creating the right solutions,be involved in pitching new advertisers and publishers as well asadvocating for the channel across the industry.

With a focus on expanding our global reach and revenue growth with finance publishers, the Account Director, Finance will actively own a portfolio ofhigh potentialfinance-forward publishers within the network. The AD will generate new qualified relationships and help publishers identify incremental business opportunities to earn more revenue within CJ. Additionally, the AD will build relationships with the day to day and executive team for this group of publishers, to develop and meet mutual goals.

The AD will be responsible for the success of the AccountManager, Financeregarding their collective clients, mutualgoals,and development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify,escalate,and guideCJsolutions needed to advance the entire Finance vertical, in collaboration with the Finance Vertical team.

  • Create publisher advocacy for both CJ & the affiliate channel byestablishing partnerships,identifyinginvestment opportunities with CJadvertisers,and providingstrategy plans to build their business.

  • Advise brands and internal teams on how to best optimize and grow within the respective practiceby utilizing data insights and industry trends.

  • Be the Subject Matter Expert internally to educate advertisers and publishers on theFinance vertical andbusiness benefits to partnering with CJwith an eye on the competitive landscape to help keep CJ ahead of the pack from a product and relationship perspective.

  • Optimize publisher accounts, position publisher business model effectively and build publisher brand awareness with Client Development teams

  • Buildpublishergrowth plans thatshowcase complementary categorydevelopment opportunities within the finance space.Provide revenue assessments andrecommendations to grow child categories withinfinance.

  • Educate publishers on CJ's interface, tools, and data assets in accordance with general business and affiliate marketing best practices to better position clients for success.

  • Proactively seek out and participate in stakeholder groups.Collaborate with supporting departments, and stakeholders to drive growth with publisher adoption and innovation at a global scale.

  • Lead, manage, train, educate andmentorEnterprise Account Manager on best practices, team goals, publisher client needs and CJ innovations and how it will benefit their own portfolio of clients.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of Digital Marketing experience (preferably Affiliate Marketing)

  • 2-5 years in a Finance-related role

  • 1-3 years'experience managing 1 or more direct reports

  • Strong verbal and written communicationabilities

  • Effectivedecision-makingskills

  • Excellent organizational and communications skills with a strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work across departments and divisions by building consensus and delivering upon stated objectives
