What You Will Be Doing
We are looking for a senior level QA Automation Engineer with experience in automation testing to help us build a highly engaging mobile health application. In this role you will:
- Work closely with product managers, developers and gain deep expertise in our product functionality
- Design, develop and implement automated testing and tooling solutions for backend services and mobile application
- Establish and maintain test automation libraries and frameworks
- Create and maintain regression test suites for the product and ensure test coverage across different environments
- Work closely with DevOps to incorporate test automation into CI/CD process
- Plan and conduct suitable performance/load testing to verify system performance and capacity
- Plan and conduct suitable vulnerability testing to verify system security
- Help establish quality metrics and best practices for QA process
What You Need for this Position
- BS degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in production software testing (automation and manual)
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, Mocha, Gulp, Cypress, Selenium, SoapUI, etc.)
- Extensive experiences in API testing, and mobile application testing
- Strong background with database and cloud technologies
- Familiarity with development and build tools (e.g. Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Android Studio, XCode, Simulators, etc.)
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches (black box and/or automated testing)
- Strong background in developing QA processes and metrics
- Experience testing systems handling PHI (HIPAA) a big plus
