Job Description:
This position is in a custom agricultural machine/fabrication shop. We design and build new equipment as well as repair old equipment. The ideal candidate will have design and build experience, competent Solidworks abilities and the ability to create and document shop drawings for fabrication.
Primary Duties Include:
Using Solidworks to create Mechanical Assemblies.
Creating shop drawings from the 3D model to communicate dimensions, cut lists and other pertinent information to fabricators and machinists.
Determining materials and hardware required to complete a project, and developing an estimate for project cost.
Documenting and organizing a library of Solidworks files, bids, and estimates, so anything that is built can be reproduced in the future.
Required Skills/Experience:
3-5 Years Experience
Fluent in Solidworks
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Phone/Communication Skills
Steel Fabrication Experience is Preferred
Math Skills (Calculating Volumes, Weights of Assemblies, etc)
