Job Description:
The caregiver provides personal care to the patients at the facility. Responsible for promoting resident well being and satisfaction through support with activities of daily living.
Brief of Responsibilities:
1. Assist with activities of daily living, including assisting residents with taking their medications following the
facility protocol, licensing regulations and guidelines for both resident and employee safety.
2. Follow the facility safety guidelines and schedule of duties.
3. Function as a team, assisting coworkers as the need arises.
4. Monitor resident activity, food intake, functional status, psychological status, taking action as required to
promote resident well- being. Report status change immediately to the supervisor.
5. Act immediately in case of any resident crisis, follow the facility protocol and basic first aid training.
6. Prepare meals for residents.
7. Do all laundry and housekeeping services for the residents and the facility as required.
8. Any other assignments made by your direct supervisor or administrator.
The ideal candidate will be able to work all shifts and willing to train.
All caregivers shall be at least 18 years of age and have a criminal clearance prior to presence in the facility. The
criminal record clearance will be cleared by both D.O.J. and F.B.I.
All caregivers will have a current First Aid Certification.
All caregivers will have a TB test clearance within 7 days of employment and the health screening within 7 days
of employment.
