Maintenance Position
We are hiring a maintenance technician to join our maintenance team. You will inspect and perform any repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to diagnose and repair maintenance issues
Maintenance Responsibilities:
⢠Conducting routine inspections of premises and units
⢠Performing preventative maintenance.
⢠Handling repairs and maintenance.
⢠Working with contractors when necessary.
⢠Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them
⢠Ensure timely completion of work orders.
⢠Responsible for the preparation of vacant units for occupancy (unit turnovers)
Maintenance Worker Requirements:
⢠Proven maintenance experience.
⢠High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
⢠Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
⢠Ability to take apart appliances, equipment, or devices to remove and replace necessary parts.
⢠Ability to check repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
⢠Ability to complete work orders and return to management
⢠Experience performing routine maintenance.
⢠Strong organizational and follow up skills.
⢠Eye for detail.
⢠Professional presentation and attitude.
⢠Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
⢠Strong time management skills.
⢠Ability to deal with frustrated or difficult residents from time to time
