Two current openings for great Production/ Fabricators in West Sacramento!

We are a Duct Manufacturer Serving the West Coast for over 20 years!

Performs sheet metal fabrication, assembly, and repair work.

Shift: Swing - 12pm start time

Mon - Fri average 10 - 12 hr shifts

Job Overview:

Employee uses a variety of hand tools and power equipment in the fabrication, assembly and repair of sheet metal articles and equipment and should be sufficient to independently perform all the essential elements of work common to the fabrication and repair of sheet metal articles and equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform any other task which may be required.

Assist other departments when required.

Fabricates or repairs such sheet metal articles as ventilators & ducts.

Lays out, cuts, shapes and constructs articles of sheet metal, including galvanized iron and steel.

Transfers patterns from blueprints to metal, using scale, compass, divider, prick punch and other layout tools.

Punches or drills holes for rivets, bolts or metal screws.

Solders, welds and brazes.

Grinds and files seams, joints and rough surfaces; burrs and turns edges.

Maintains tools and equipment.

Requirements:

Ability to read, understand and work from blueprints, layouts and other types of work orders/instructions.

Mechanical assembly abilities

Ability to sit, stand, or crouch for long periods

Ability to lift and/or move products 50 to 75lbs with assistance

Ability to operate a variety of power tools

Understanding of construction industry and other trades

Physical ability to perform construction work (i.e. lifting, moving equipment, etc)

Understand and practice good safety

Flexibility and ability to adapt to each unique project or situation

Flexibility and ability to work outside of standard working hours, when required by project schedule or work backlog

Responsible for company issued tools and property and return thereof upon completion of use

Prior industry experience is a plus!

MIG welding experience a plus!
