DescriptionA position has opened up for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk at a a company in the Automotive field. This position is offered through Accountemps. The Accounting Clerk role offers an exciting opportunity to become an integral part International Construction Company. Located in Aurora, Colorado, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be temporary position. This department offers prospects of career growth and advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk duties will include reviewing, matching and coding invoices, entering invoices into system, and resolving A/P issues, as well as other duties as assigned.Key responsibilitiesAssist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Provide support during internal and external audits
Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Manage full-cycle A/P
Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
RequirementsDemonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Strong Data entry skills
Microsoft Excel
Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
