We are a commercial construction services provider in Longmont, CO currently looking for a detail-oriented, motivated bookkeeper to join our growing business. The bookkeeper will report to the Controller and assist with full-cycle accounting tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Daily entries of AR and AP
- Preparing check run reports for Controller
- Basic Month-End tasks, including bank and GL reconciliations, adjusting JEs, and accruals.
- Maintaining petty cash
- Collections
- Pre-Payroll entry
- Verifying submitted expense reports
- Assisting the Controller as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Minimum of 2 years of school in a relevant major or 1 year of experience required.
- Technical understanding of T-Accounts, Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Statement of Cash Flows
- Proficient in Excel
- Proficient in Quickbooks Pro
- Experience in job cost accounting strongly preferred
- Experience in construction accounting preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet moving deadlines
The position will be part-time at 25 hours a week, Monday through Friday from 8am-1pm with the possibility to transition into a full-time role with benefits!
