A Longmont business is looking for an experienced full-charge bookkeeper in a multi company environment. Companies include property rental, oil and gas investments, ranching and horse business. Candidate will be responsible for all aspects of bookkeeping through financial statements and year-end reconciliations and work papers for CPA prepared tax returns.
This is a full time position, M-F, 8-5.
Software used: OGSYS, Sage 100 and Excel
Essential duties include:
-Work closely with our CPA
-Accounts Payables & Receivables
-Payroll processing through tax reports and W-2's
-Monthly Bookkeeping
-General Ledger
-Bank reconciliations
-Property tax payments
-Sales tax
-Preparation of yearly financial statements
Candidate must have strong working knowledge of Excel, excellent data entry skills and should have 5-10 years experience in bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles. Candidates with oil and gas accounting experience are highly desired.
