Facility Coordinator to schedule and coordinate maintenance work for amanufacturing and laboratory campus. Duties include:Coordinate with manufacturing scheduler and lab owners to ensure on time workcompliance.Oversee/Coordinate contractors to accomplish architectural repairs.Manage site services (security, landscape, pest control, janitorial,HVAC). Review and close work performed by contractors.Generate and resolve deviations as they pertain to the scope of facilitiesresponsibility.Plans utilization of space and works with department managers to forecastspace needs.Support internal and external audits. Develop and execute Corrective ActionPlans (CAPA) as required.Manage department GMP documents for areas of responsibilityUtilization of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems to plan,schedule, document work performed.This position reports within the Engineering and Facilities group.The Facility Coordinator works within a team environment that embraces anempowered team culture including significant interaction with QualityAssurance, Manufacturing Operations, Validation and other support groups.Candidate must be able to provide "On-Call" response to support plantoperations during off-hours as required.Education and Experience:Bachelor's in engineering, facilities management, or constructionmanagement; or two-year degree and vocation training in technology/sciencefield with 2 years of maintenance experience; or high school diploma,military training and 6 years of related maintenance experience in amanufacturing environment.Technical troubleshooting and writing skills are a must. Candidate must beproficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel and OutlookMust be able to read engineering drawings and diagrams such as P.and.ID's andelectrical schematicsPrior experience and knowledge of general utility systems operation andmaintenance; such as boilers, compressors, chillers, electrical,HVAC and refrigeration systems is a plusPrior experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is a plusGeneral knowledge and experience with safety requirements such as LOTO,confined space, fall protection, electrical and PPE is a plus.KBI Biopharma, Inc. is an EEO/AA employer and actively seeks to diversifyits work force.
