Job Requisition: Advanced Solutions Practice Software & Solutions Engineer.A person in this role is responsible for the successful delivery of customized workflow solutions using Ricoh ProcessDirector (RPD) within our customer's environments. These workflow solutions consist of a series of detailed, automated steps that a document or job will move through during the manufacturing process.Software & Solutions engineers will develop customized functionality in RPD and will also be experts in the implementation of solutions using the RPD software. They will both create new and also modify already delivered solutions to meet the needs of the customer. They will train customers on delivered solutions. They will become a trusted advisor to our customers. The scope of activities may include: java development, writing scripts, server setup, workflow configurations, printing, postal configuration, problem solving, training customers, and leading small teams. You will be required to interface and coordinate with sales, project managers and architects on customer projects.This position is in a co-located team environment in Boulder, CO. Software & Solutions Engineers will travel to customer locations. The goal of a Software & Solutions Engineer is to maximize the customers' acceptance and use of Ricoh Process Director as their workflow solution.Required:

Bachelor's degree

Java development

Experience with JavaScript or Groovy scripting languages

Experience with all stages of the software development life cycle

Experience with Linux and Windows

Passion for learning and the ability to quickly pick up on new concepts

Technical troubleshooting skills to solve or assist in solving complex problems, potentially across multiple systems and collaborating with multiple teams.

Effective communication through multiple channels, including email, instant messaging, phone and in person

Comfortable in front of customers to deliver training and onsite delivery of services and solutions

Availability to travel to customer locations within the United States (Average one to two trips per quarter.)

Preferred (Optional):

Experience using continuous integration technologies, such as Jenkins, Ivy and Artifactory

Experience with UNIX shell or Windows batch scripting

Experience with GUI creation including HTML5, JavaScript frameworks, and RESTful web services

Experience with AIX operating systems

Experience in print industry with exposure to Ricoh Process Director

Familiarity with print output formats such as AFP, PDF and Postscript

Experience with USPS mailer programs (CASS/Encode, PAVE/Presort, PostalOne!, TracNTrace, CertifiedMail, etc.)
