As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality dishes are served, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
## Responsibilities
- Ensure the preparation and execution of the menu is to the standards of ownership
- Train and manage kitchen staff
- Required shifts working a station for service.
- Menu Development
- Proper ordering and managing of inventory control to minimize waste and ensure freshness of ingredients
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with management to plan menus, create new dishes, and develop specials
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food preparation and storage
## Experience
- Proven experience working in a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards
- Proficient in food handling, food production, and catering services
- Minimum 3 years of chef/management experience required.
