Spruce Confections is a bakery and café that has been rooted in the Boulder community for over 25 years. We proudly hand make all our products, from scratch, in our Boulder bakeries! We currently have 3 retail locations in Boulder and are seeking a bakery QC and Packager to join the team at our Pearl St. location and Broadway location.
As our Quality Control and Product Packager, you are the front line in ensuring our product taste and appearance is nothing but exceptional.
Position responsibilities:
-Cutting and wrapping a high volume of baked products daily
-Weighing products to ensure accuracy
-Tasting products for quality consistency
-Report quality concerns or inconsistencies to baking management
-Washing pans and utensils
-Rotating product
-Occasionally assisting bakers and management on projects
Candidates should have/be:
-Able to work at a fast pace
-Able to work on their feet for 8+ hours.
-A team player
-Positive attitude
-Great attention to detail
-Exceptional work ethic
