Boulder County Smiles has an excellent opportunity for an experienced dental assistant to join our team of general dentists. We are a modern and progressive dental practice passionate about giving our patients the best dental experience possible.
Our ideal experienced dental assistant candidate must be reliable, cheerful, punctual, courteous, and self-motivated. We are looking for a career minded individual who has the genuine desire to help others. Must be a team player and work well with others!
General duties include, but not limited to: sterilization of instruments and equipment; entering patient treatment plans; reviewing patient's medical history and taking baseline blood pressure readings; providing instructions for oral care following surgical and restorative treatment procedures; teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health; communicating with patients (e.g. scheduling appointments and answering patients' questions over the telephone); assisting to provide patient care in all general dental procedures (restorative dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery). Front office experience in the dental field is a plus, but not mandatory.
