Individual, couple or two friends for work/ live trade situation in Niwot. 15 minutes from Boulder. Free rent (including utilities/wifi) in exchange for 20 hours of part-time care giving for my 88 yr. old father. Daughter lives close by, other care-givers on board daily. Must be in house overnights. He is an early riser so care-givers need to be as well.
Required shifts: Mon.- Friday. 6am - 8am. 5 days a week to assist w/ dressing, bathroom, breakfast. (Currently mostly self -sufficient on dressing on his own, just needs prompting). Dinner shift on 4-7 pm Wed & Sat. 4-7 (Possibly some flexibility on weekend hours with advance notice or schedule negotiation). Duties during shifts include: household cleaning, bathroom assist., laundry with basic cooking skills essential for meal making. We have a great team already in place that will be also helping out my father.
Mindful, compassionate & friendly person/people wanted. Must be a team player with good attention to detail. Only stable mature individuals with good ethics need apply. Bright, spacious, studio 1 bedroom apartment w/ kitchenette, dining area, living room with fireplace, full bath, laundry room, garden level East facing windows. Small & quiet pet possible with pet damage deposit.(would have to be quiet pet ;) After initial one week trial (to see if it is a good fit for everyone) we need a minimum commitment thru Dec. 2019 with option to extend lease/trade. Small quiet pet considered with pet damage deposit.
