FULL-TIME EMBROIDERY DEPARTMENT
Located in Boulder, Colorado, AOV Inc. is seeking a person to work as a Full-time Embroidery Machine Operator to join our Screen Print, Embroidery, and Promotional Products team.
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, detail oriented person to work in our Embroidery Department. Do you have a Great, Can-do Attitude? Assembly or machine production experience? Experience preferred but we will train the right person!
Must be available during normal shop hours; M-F, 7AM - 4 PM.

Embroidery Machine Operator Responsibilities:
The Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for performing all of the functions necessary to produce embellishments on apparel for AOV orders, including coordinating, hooping and operating the embroidery machine.
Verify number of units received, arrange garments correctly, verify logo placement
Correctly and efficiently hoop garments
Thread machine with correct thread
Set up order on computer
Start sewing operation and keep machines sewing when operator is on break or at lunch
Quality control: watch closely for quality issues; and correct as necessary
Notify supervisor of problems and/or shortages with orders
Basic Qualifications:
High School Graduate or GED
Physical requirement - ability to bend, twist, reach, lift materials up to 30 lbs
Good eye / hand coordination
Good vision and the ability to detect slight differences in colors required
Able to stand for long periods of time on concrete flooring
Able to perform assigned tasks in environment with production floor sewing machine noise
Able to work proficiently and efficiently while under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Have outstanding punctuality and attendance
Excellent attention to detail is a must
Ability to speak, read and follow directions in English required
Basic computer literacy skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with embroidery, sewing or small assembly
